University Scholarship Program (Undergraduate)

To achieve the university's vision and its pursuit of leadership and out of its desire to nurture outstanding students and create distinguished opportunities for them by providing a partnership between the university and local institutions and companies to offer employment-linked scholarships for outstanding university students, a program has been established to foster an atmosphere of constructive competition. This program, which is concerned with the university's scholarship and fellowship affairs, operates under the vice president for Educational and Academic Affairs. The program aims to contribute to achieving the vision of King Saud University and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

By elevating the quality of academic program outcomes to keep pace with labor market needs, the scholarship program team collaborates with companies and government entities to select distinguished male and female students across various university disciplines, based on the needs of the sponsoring entities. This is achieved by offering them scholarships that cover academic program tuition fees and a monthly stipend, provided that the scholarship recipient works for the sponsoring entity immediately upon graduation. Currently, the program benefits several sponsored students from various entities, including certain sectors of the Ministry of Defense, the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), and the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain, distributed across various university colleges.

The program is currently working on developing a mechanism for nominating students and encouraging their participation in these scholarships by devising a plan for the upcoming year. This plan includes delivering introductory lectures about the scholarship, its primary objectives, and enrollment procedures, organized through coordinated visits and lectures conducted by representatives of the sponsoring institutions or companies to answer students' inquiries.
