University Scholarship Program (Undergraduate)
To achieve the university’s vision of fostering leadership and supporting exceptional students, a program has been established in partnership with local institutions and companies. The program aims to offer scholarships that lead to employment opportunities for outstanding university students. Aligned with the Vision of King Saud University, the program aims to improve the quality of academic program outputs to meet the demands of the job market and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The program is managed by the Vice President’s Office for Educational and Academic Affairs. It partners with companies and government agencies to recognize exceptional students from various fields of study. These students receive scholarships that cover tuition fees and include a monthly stipend. In return, scholarship recipients are required to work with the sponsoring organization after they graduate.
The program currently serves students from several agencies, including the Ministry of Defense, the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), and scholarship students from the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain. These students are distributed across the university’s various colleges.
To enhance student participation, the program is developing a plan to deliver informative lectures about the goals of the grant and how students can get involved. This includes organizing visits and talks by representatives from sponsoring companies to address student inquiries.
